Wow the Yankees are good!...Really???

Why the hell do people like the Yankees? I completely get the history thing and blah blah blah. I'm okay with how great they used to be, but in modern times is there a more undeserving team in the world? Dear mister yankees fan.....how do you sleep at night knowing your team just pays more than anybody else?...and by a lot? Is is really fun cheering for them? I just don't get it. O, and don't worry, I'm not just saying this because the Rangers are playing you right now. I've always hated you, so that really has nothing to do with it. Watching the 'spanks fans leave early last night during your 8-0 CRUSHING by Cliff Lee was the greatest thing ever. Then, shortly after that, all the talk was about how with him being a free agent and how with each amazing pitch he throws his salary is going up like crazy for next year. Of course, the next bit of talk was about how that would probably be the crankees getting him because they are the ones that will pay his ayse the most. Such crap!!! "O no....we got beat by a great pitcher tonight.....Let's buy him!!!" When most would just try to figure out what to do to improve, you idiots will just buy anybody that beats you. Fair? Not so much. It's complete B.S.! And to that spankees, I say you suck as a team. Where is the pride in that?

Fairweather Fans - Rangers Playoffs

There is nothing more exciting than having your team make it deep into the playoffs. It creates such a great atmosphere within a city. The Rangers are finally playing great baseball......and not just good enough to win in a crappy division, but really damn good and might even roll on to "the" series. Cliff Lee was absolutely sick last night and everyone was talking about it last night and today. Even at work today, we were talking about at a meeting. Co-Workers that I wouldn't have even guessed have seen a game or been to a game this year at all. We haven't talked a lick about baseball all year and now everyone is a "BIG FAN". I know what you are thinking.....GD FairWeather fans.....well, I'm going to take the opposite route of most people on this one and say I welcome it. I like that fact that people are watching and rooting on the Rangers. I don't care if they aren't lifelong's or diehard's.....whatever to me. I don't need to be the world's biggest fan and I don't care if others are either. Sorry dude, no.....I can't tell you that guys batting average for the year! So, to all you that say you don't like the fairweather fans......get the hell over it and just enjoy all the support. My thought.....if the rangers want me or others to be a fan in good and bad....through thick and thin....no matter what......don't blow for 10 year spans! I'm having a great time right now with the rangers being the talk of the town...or even the office. Keep it up rangers!! WELCOME ALL FAIRWEATHER FANS!!! Go ahead....you tell this chick she's not a real fan!
